The Financial Planning Association (FPA) is the leading membership organization for Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professionals, financial planners, and allied professionals who are committed to elevating the financial planning profession.

Founded in 2000, the FPA is a non-profit organization that serves the public by advancing the practice of professional financial planning. It is dedicated to supporting the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct among its members, enhancing the professional development of financial planners, and advocating for policies that benefit both the profession and the public.
