On Friday, October 10th, Per Stirling hosted our most successful shredevent to date at the PS North office off Spicewood Springs Road. With over 70 clients in attendance, the turnout exceeded all expectations. Our community showed up ready to responsibly dispose of their old tech and we were ready for it!
Clients and friends joined us for a day of secure document destruction, community connection, and secure device disposal. This year, we again accepted electronic devices for safe recycling - everything from laptops and smartphones to hard drives and cameras. Thanks to our partnership with Elian Recycling, more than 160 items were securely destroyed and responsibly recycled.
When it came to paper, we set a new record - over 4,000 pounds of paper SHREDDED! That’s right, two tons of sensitive documents, gone in minutes.
And to keep the theme going, guests enjoyed delicious shredded pork BBQ sandwiches. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this our biggest shredevent yet. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
